Butyl acetate is applied in paint and coatings, food, pharmaceutical and leather industries. It is also used for flue manufacturing and synthesis of other chemical products. It may be part of perfume essence. Butyl acetate must be stored in an airtight container at a safe distance from heating devices. Using of electric tools with sparks near the storage is not allowed. It is necessary to use personal protective equipment, when working with butyl acetate. Storage must be well ventilated or equipped with a pulsion-extraction air duct.
